Length

Rather short, the neck measures about 2.8/10 of the height at the withers.

Shape

It is cone shaped and well muscled. At mid length, the circumference of the neck is equal to about 8/10 the height at the withers.

Skin

The lower border of the neck is replete with loose skin which forms a double dewlap~ which is well divided but not too abundant. The dewlap extends from the lower jaw to the middle of the neck. but no further.

At mid-length the perimeter is equal to about 8/10 of the height of the withers. As we see, standard perfectly explain neck, showing to as how much is important ``bridge`` between powerful body and magnificent head. Skin does not make size of neck but extremely strong developing muscles. If we notice, big bones and a lot of excess skin, but not muscles, then we recognized big ``inside``problem", perhaps a deformity. Fake beauty.

Skin:
Lower edge of the neck is well endowed with loose skin which forms a double dewlap well separated, but not exaggerated; starts at level of the lower jaw and does not go beyond middle of the neck.
